Mont Juic is the national park or more natural side of Barcelona. It was a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. The first of these videos shows the grand towers at the entrance to the park with a roundabout fountain and a stadium.
Continuing on up the road we arrive at a palace which is now a museum and look back at the grand entrance…
Today was also the day France were playing a match in the football World Cup 2010. Therefore we came across these supporters beating drums in the streets behind the palace.
We arrived at what we had been told was a live Spanish museum bringing together building and architectural designs from all over Spain. It was alleyways of shops decorated in different styles selling items from those parts of Spain. Amongst these shops we found a glass factory where we witnessed the following local, creating glass sculptured animals.
Continuing further up the mountain we arrived at the Olympic Stadium…
This never ending mountain kept going higher and higher. Once past the stadium we came across a remote controlled arena where a pilot was out flying his minature stunt plane.
Right at the top of the mountain there was a fort. Here we could see the whole city and there was an archery lesson happening in the fort grounds.
