Assassins Creed Revelations Game Informer Cover

Here is a little something for gamers and singers alike. If you are a fan of the AAA gaming franchise Assassins Creed, Ubisoft are giving you the opportunity to create the voiceover for the theme of this November’s Assassins Creed Revelations. There are various rules etc although you have a prize available of $1000 in addition to being featured in the game and on the game soundtrack.

All you have to do is register on UJAM and get singing. Once you have uploaded your entry spread the word via Facebook and get all your friends to like it. If your entry is one of the top 20 by the closing date of September 19th, legendary composer Hans Zimmer will judge the entry along with Lorne Balfe and Simon Landry.

There are already a few entries to obtain some inspiration. Having heard a fair few there seems to be a lot of “wailing” entries and some entries from people who really cannot sing. I might give it a shot to do the competition some justice. We shall see. Here is the infamous link.

Park Guell Barcelona Stairs

The hostel party was preety good everyone just ended up getting wasted. We never ended up at Shoko but just went to sleep. Had to get up early to check out and we had a few hours before our train left so we decided to visit Park Guell Gaudi’s more nature inspired work. When we arrived with our huge bags on our back to discover it was on top of a hill we were gutted but we still climbed up the hill with our bags. At a little supermarket on the hill we bought some bread and cheese and ate sandwiches in the park while listening to a guitar and saxophone group. After an hour or so we made our way to the train station. Our next stop Monaco, was 4 trains away and the first train arrived Read the rest of this entry →

Mont Juic Palace Barcelona

Last night we ended up at an icecream parlour/bar on Las Ramblas and decided to walk down to the beach and to the clubs after a few drinks. Although, we ended up sitting with a group of guitarists at the marina and the 15 min walk took us 3 hours. We got there at 4am, couldn’t be bothered and just went home. Today we went to Mont Juic the mountain area of the city. Walking up the mountain took us 3 hours and we visited a mini spanish museum showcasing replica building types from the whole of Spain. Also we saw the Read the rest of this entry →
