Call Of Duty Fans Rejoice & Women Go Into Depression
November 7, 2011 in Gaming
Yes the inevitable night has arrived. At midnight tonight which is only a few hours away, the world will see the launch of Activition’s latest cash cow, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Stores across the country will be holding midnight launches include GAME, Game Station, HMV, Tesco and ASDA so you have plenty of choice to pick up your copy.
Modern Warfare 3 will see the conclusion to the Modern Warfare storyline as users may finally be able to hunt down Russian Terrorist Makarov. The majority of gamers will however be attracted to the multiplayer experience bringing fresh maps and more modes in one of the best online experiences of the decade.
Battlefield 3 released two weeks ago was greeted to great reception with near perfect reviews from critics. It will be interesting to see how Battlefield 3 impacts first week sales for Activition. Many gamers have said that they will purchase both although it predicted sales will increase by at least 10% regardless for the franchise.
I received some Tesco vouchers in the post this morning which may have just swayed me to go out and grab a copy at a reduced price.
