Having grown up in such a crucial evolutionary stage of technology, computers have very much been a large part of my life from education through to socialising. Early days were fascinating, just by writing basic commands to launch programs in Microsoft DOS that in turn, many years later evolved into writing programs in languages unknown to a large proportion of the world. Technology is evolving at such an exponential rate, the thrill of reading about new research and products will not die out anytime soon. It is an industry where you could potentially be doing something you cannot even dream of anytime soon in twenty years.
Working in the Video Game industry would be my dream job. Video Games possess a very special place in the world of technology. They are one of the things in life that can bring smiles to and unite faces across the world. They are a form of escape and reward, defined by creating virtual experiences which in many cases are not possible in reality. Video Games are a form of creativity in the purest form, from the programmers behind the scenes linking many pieces of an extremely large puzzle together right through to the artists and designers who see and share amazing detailed worlds and characters with us. With evolution on a yearly basis and infinite exciting ideas and projects to work on, the thrill of participating in that process is limitless.
Another aspect of IT which interests me is consultancy. Working on large scale projects to create a new or improved system is exciting. Witnessing the difference that you personally make doing your everyday job to many companies and people across the country and world, it really feels like you have made a positive contribution to multiple people’s lives at the end of a successful project simply by making their everyday job easier. Having worked on many projects throughout university experiencing them from the perspective of a project manager and a team player you learn a great deal and the pressure is adrenaline pumping. Having deadlines to meet with clients transforms your job into a race against time. An integral part and a great benefit is the ability to leave the office and visit other companies and countries, having the opportunity to work with a range of people each month.
MR IT Services is a one stop portal for me to express myself to friends, employers and clients. Whether you seek interesting articles and photos, professional documents or IT support, you will find something relevant here. MR IT Services was developed from the idea of the frequent calls I obtained from family and friends to “fix their computers”. After acquiring skills from years of experience I decided to create this website. Furthermore, after working with a web design company for a year during my degree I required a place where the public could view my work. Established in 2005, MR IT Services is now in its third website revision initiated with a fresh look and new goals for the near future. I hope you enjoy your browse on MR IT Services and please do feel free to share any interesting articles with your friends.
Thank You for visiting my home on the web,
