The primary reason which sits at the core of the complaints is that Read the rest of this entry →

The PlayStation community held yet another incredible preview event today, this time for upcoming handheld PlayStation Vita. The event had been arranged to reveal the launch titles that will become available with the European and American release of the console in February 2012 in addition to further mouthwatering information. The community were invited to go hands on with some of these titles at a location in London today and I was one of the lucky few who was invited to go along. 23 different games were playable which in itself was very impressive compared to the 6 odd games which were playable at the Eurogamer Expo in September. It would have been 24 but developers of newly announced title Read the rest of this entry →

Assassins Creed Tour Part 2 Constantinople / Istanbul

November 15, 2011 in Featured, Gaming, Must Read, Photography

During the summer of 2010, I embarked on a trip across Europe and my adventures in Italy were heavily inspired by Assassins Creed 2. I scheduled in trips to Florence,Rome, Venice, Monteriggioni and San Gimignano to witness the locations and landmarks from the game in real life. It was a fantastic journey and a very surreal experience. I blogged during my travels and right up to this day The Assassins Creed 2 Tour post remains the most viewed article on my website. Little did I know that this past summer I would have the perfect follow up article.

A few months ago I visited the lovely country of Bulgaria and during my stay I embarked on a two day excursion to the neighbouring city of Istanbul in Turkey. This essentially continued my Assassins Creed Tour but with a big difference Read the rest of this entry →

Uncharted 3 London Preview Event

The Union bar in London’s Greek Street played host to a very special event this afternoon. Representing The Pelican Inn from an earlier trailer shown for Uncharted 3, it was one of the first opportunities the public outside of the press were given the opportunity to get hands on with the game’s single player campaign. I was disappointed last month whilst at the Eurogamer Expo to discover that only the multiplayer part of the game was playable, although this event totally made up for it.

The bar itself had subtly been given the classy treatment with Uncharted 3 Read the rest of this entry →

Assassins Creed 2 Tour

Monteriggioni Castle With Vineyards Tuscany Italy

We left florence in the morning and headed out into the Tuscan countryside. We wanted to visit the 2 towns we had seen in the game Assassins Creed 2. We caught a train to Castellina in Chianti which was the nearest stop to Monterrigioni Castle. At the second stop massive hailstones started coming down and we were like oh crap we’re only wearing T-shirts and shorts. It was slightly out of town so we thought the weather would get better nearer and the sun came out one stop before we were supposed to get off. Unfortunately when we got off the train it was pouring down with very heavy rain. We ran out of the station and down the street until we found a cafe with a canopy and stood under it for a while. To make things worse the castle was Read the rest of this entry →
