Signing Off For Now

February 10, 2012 in General Updates

Dear loyal readers,

I address you today with some exciting news. After spending eight long months trying to launch my career within the video game industry I have been offered a position at one of the oldest British game studios, Codemasters. I will be working for them as a QA Technician on the Dirt Showdown and Formula 1 franchises.

This unfortunately means that I will have a commitment of working full time and will be unable to spend hours each day reporting on the news surrounding the industry.

If circumstances do change or if there is enough demand for me to do so, I will try my best to continue. Otherwise I would recommend you read the following sites if you wish to stay up to date.

http://www.kotaku.com

http://www.gamesindustry.biz

http://www.engadget.com

http://www.theverge.com

http://www.mcvuk.com

http://www.androidcentral.com

Over the past 5 months my articles have been read over 15,000 times by over 7000 different people. Those figures are incredible for an individual journalist like me. I want to say thank you for all your support and if there is anything I can help you with please do not hesistate to ask.

Wishing you all the best,

Mayank

MR IT Services Now On Facebook

December 29, 2011 in General Updates

Dear loyal readers,

This post is to inform you that MR IT Services now has an official page on Facebook. I was previously using my personal profile although over the past few months, my readers have expanded beyond my friends list.

The following page will be used to notify you of new posts directly within your Facebook News Feed. I also hope to use the page as a platform to participate in more interactive discussion with readers.

You can “Like” the page at the following link. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mayank-Ranpura-It-Services/274263569296988

Furthermore, I just wanted to point out the “Follow Me” box on the right hand side bar. Other than Facebook, I use Twitter daily where in addition to articles, I Re-Tweet information regarding give aways, competitions and bargains you can find on video games.

Names In Games is a new social site dedicated to the video games industry. If you happen to be a member, my profile is accessible via the small controller logo in the side bar. The same goes for Linked In.

Thank you again for the great feedback I have received over the past few months. I hope you all have an incredible New Year.

Best Wishes,

Mayank
